Cool Affordable fuse/relay panel suggestion

For those on a limited budget you should try these $12 setups.

Amazon Amazon

Top and bottom appear to have snap on coverings.

i have the one you linked.

seems fairly solid. i havent moved my nest of relays/fuses into it yet but i might start on that since i pulled a muscle trying to get my motor out the other day to fix an oil leak and need to get stuff done on it but cant do anything strenuous.

I have two of these in my car. One replaced the corroded original underdash fusebox and the other one is in the back of the car (near the battery) supplying power to the fuel pumps and the oil and trans cooler fans.

They work fine. I don’t recall them having a waterproof seal

99% of GM factory fuse panels I have seen are not watertight. Relays on the older 80-90's cars like S10 and Buick FWD cars use sealed relay sockets. The LSx based cars and trucks are not watertight on the bottom; they use a dust cover over the top panel. I guess these are just as good for most applications that i build.

Looks labor intensive. Not for us lazy types........

This one has seals on the bottom and is more water tight:

I have used both of those and they're fine. the fuse connections are made from like the wimpiest metal possible so hunting some decent stuff down from waytek or wherever is a good idea

Using the PO's fuse box and its holding up great. I also changed to name brand terminals.
