Default 1972 GTO LS3 swap

Hello, im building a 416 ls3 72 GTO.planning to daily it. End goal is procharging and 750whp. So far ive done some work on the chassis, got 06 gto interior, bought ecu, suspension, t56 magnum and a lot more. I need help with steering, i dont know where to get a rack and pinion from. Most forums are from 2010 so i assume they're a bit outdated. What do you guys recommend? Unisteer, Ididit, Steeriods and such. Flaming river is a bit too pricey for me tho.
thanks

I wouldn’t go rack n pinion. Just go aftermarket suspension. Detroit Speed Engineering would be my first choice.

From what I've gathered there is no benefit to R&P in these cars unless you just want to be able to tell people who don't know any better that you have it. Which is fine of course if that is what you want.

There are many excellent companies that sell bolt on suspension products for GM A-bodies. As Jim said, there is no reason to introduce the complexity of a rack. An upgraded steering box from DSE, Lee, or others is an excellent option without the introduction of complicated installation and bump-steer issues.

i went with an all UMI setup and viking coilovers. So with aftermarket suspension a rack isnt necessary?

oh really? I just heard that rack and pinion would give a sportier feel and be better for handling and cornering.
