But for a future project. What would it take to put this into a 1978 - 1987 Chevy El Camino? The rear end on this is a 4-arm offset trailing link job with coil springs and a solid axle. The weight distribution in these cars is okay, but I think a little more weight would do well at the rear tires on this car. And, a few more details on what it would take to put this kind or rear into a vehicle with a solid axle might help spark interest in selling this unit.

I had this to put into my 1971 elcamino an it will work well for that as the trans fits under the bed (no cutting) and the trans bell comes to the area behind the front seat
My plan was to make a G- machine out of the elcamino and I have all the parts to do so it will fit up to a smallblock , bigblock or LS-1 style engine
I was to use a ls-1 style for the weight diff up front!
But we sold the car and are relocating at this time

I'm interested in how the rear end was actually mounted since the Elkys all came with a solid axle, and there really isn't any mounting points for an independent rear. Would be super sweet to have that in one, since that would make the weight balance perfect. Those guys need some extra weight in the rear for traction.
I have all the parts to do this but not the time
