Conversion folks please list your conversion in here
My name is James and I'm just starting my conversion. I'm going to be installing a LQ4 out of a 2005 GMC Van into my 1972 Blazer w/ TH350 and N205. Here's some pics of the Blazer and engine.

i have a 94 lt1 6 speed camaro and just got a 2002 ls1 6 speed. what mods do i need to do to to get the ls1 harness to work with the lt1 chassis and dash harness. any info would be great. does any one know where to get wire scematics for both The LS364/440 engine has been delivered. The Shell Valley Cobra chassis with body will be delivered the first of 2007. It consists of Ford Mustang style front suspension and Ford 9in. rear end all with coil-over-shock components.
Noteworthy: 1) There is no manual for this engine
2) GM has no tech hotline for support
3) All technical info is supplied by the older LS1 engine
publications [this is not the same engine]
4) I emailed GM and they referred me to a list of CHEVY
performance dealers for help. They can only quote the
Performance Parts catalog -which is only a commercial
to sell the engine.
I am currently working on the accessory drive for this engine and am awaiting delivery of 98 Camaro Z28 components to install the alternator etc. The dealer didn't know what was correct so I threw a mental dart and hope I am right as they have a no refund policy.
Anyone out there with info on this installation ?????

I am just getting started on this project. I have the engine and trans sitting there. I am hoping to have the beastly 229 V6 out by end of week. The goal is to finish gutting the car and send out for media blasting of the under-body and frame by Christmas. Then start working on fitting in the new motor and trans. I am just starting to gather the parts necessary for the swap. I will start taking pictures.
Haven't posted much but I need to say thanks for all the help over the years.
The 79 Camaro has a 2001 LS1 4L603 and the Wrangler has a 2001 4.8.
Both are great swaps.
