I want to see more on this project. I had a 1989 that looked just like the one in the pic (the burgundy one) and really liked the design of the car and always wondered what it would be like RWD.

142lb lighter than the iron 283 4BBL and TH350.
starts, runs and drives beautifully...

1966 Chevelle 300 Delux 2 door sedan, 5.3 from a 2002 Suburban with a TKO 500 using stock mechanical clutch linkage, four wheel disc brakes, Sandlewood tan with the same color interior, (still original). Gonna be carb'd, with MSD ignition, and it's gonna get a 9", (has a 12 bolt now). pics in sig.

I posted this before when I had a cooling question. Wellt he cooling is sorted out , car is working great , just sorting out the throttle cable , car only opens about 1/2 right now...still verrry fast.

1100Rpm in 4th @ 75mph.

66 Corvair
04 LS1
87 930 Porsche tranny.
JBA headers
Turned intake
No AC
no PS
No BS
Just fun.

I saw your car at the GM tech center a few weeks ago, I didn't see the owner. NIIIICCEEE work, A V8 Corvair is on my short list of cars to build in my lifetime.

There was a guy at the Bearing Burners cars this year that had made a LS7 intake and LS7 engine cover setup for his stock motored car. It fooled more than a few people.

LQ4, MP112 Magnacharger Champ pan, Comp custom cam, GM LS6 valve springs, Comp pushrods, Katech oil pump, Rollmaster timing chain, S&P ceramic coated mid length headers.

4L80E, Fuddle 2700 stall 2.0 STR, Trans-go HD2 shift kit.

8.5" 10-bolt, Eaton posi, 3.73 R&P, T/A girdle, stock axles for now

Suspension: Eibach springs, ST sway bars, UMI rear arms, Moog hard parts, Energy bushings, Jeep Grand Cherokee steering box, 13"/12" disc brakes, 17" black Torq-Thrust M wheels, BFG G-Force Sport rubber.

Thats it for now.
