Pretty embarrassed about how the car looks and can't stop spending $ on go fast goodies rather than bling (not my thing). It'll be a month before i put any pictures online.
It's been stripped out, sparco roadster buckets, no a/c, no heat, no carpet, no door panels, harness bar, 5 pt ratchets, battery is behind passenger seat, radio is pulled out (15 lbs
) voltmeter and start button reside there.
It rolls on 17's and is a real sleeper with the older body style. Not to many people believe that the lope is coming from a narrow body 911.
Just bought some 243's locally that flow 311 cfm @ .600'' and a Vic. jr intake. Hoping to have it TT'd by September's Ventura show. I'll run it N/A till i have enough $ to go FI.

Wasnt looking for a project Jan 08,craigs ad popped up as seller listed it,so it was cosmic.81 z28 4sp ac ttop 80k miles rust free core car no int. or engine/trans,and cheap.First plans was Ls1 4sp basic int. scuff and shoot.Plan evolved as parts came off,they kept coming off,till it was stripped.Still trying to budget and shop the hell out of everything, shes getting close,and im getting more motivated to be done by late june.Lq4 stage 2 heads 232/590/112 T56 95Z leather

yeha yeah yeah .. im a tuner guy and i was tired of my boys cause they all got damn mustangs that were about equal to me now they are all pissed that they blew there deployment money cause im doing a turbo 5.3L with a t56 in my 93 300zx... if anyone has done a ls1 swap in any car could i get some hint so far ive got my firewall cut and modified, fuel cell in with pump.. 5.3 with ls1 intake and fuel rail with injectors ... im not doing the turbo yet i need to get the build mocked up for all the mounts and acc brackets made once the car is running solid then come the tear down and build up for the single or twin turbo mod not sure which way im leaning though yet....
I am getting ready to drop an LS1/4L60E combo into a 68 LeMans Convertible. I was wondering if anyone else has done something similar to this, and what all did they use? Did you buy a complete kit to swap it in, or did you peice things together? Do I need a new oil pan to clear the front crossmember? The list of questions go on and on!
LS2 6.0 from a Trailblazer SS with 17 miles.I used GTO intaked , oil pan . Camaro water pump ,ballancer, alternator, Changed the 4L70E AWD back to 2WD , Yank SS 3600 converter, went back to B/W input sprag, Stainless Works long tube headers,(not fenderwell) X pipe and 2.5 " duals.
