The build started by pulling the BBC and trans out on the 20th, It took 4 hours of ripping stuff out and low and behold The Other Woman as my bride calls her sits nose high, she looks kinda sad sitting empty. Me and my brother Mags installed the BTR rocker conversion parts into the LQ4 and called it a night.
Target is LSfest 2016 with a possibility of driving to Milwaukee for the summer nationals. Pics to follow soon.

Reason: added stuff about the build
so i stopped on my rx7 build. sold the t56, ls6 intake and some other stuff and wasnt planning on building anything else then found a running/driving 03 is300 for $1000 so picked it up. still have the ls1, about to trade the f-body pan for a gto one and bought an aftermarket LS style intake manifold. so i guess im building this now. goin to repaint the motor and do an auto. just tryin to figure out if i wanna make everything work still or just gut it and make it a fun car since i have my daily one.
1982 Volvo 242 - originally with 2.1L/4 speed w/OD; since 1996 powered by a 5.0L Ford/T5/(more recently) 8.8" rear. In process of installing new LS3. Pic below before Ford engine was pulled.

Has anyone out there swapped an LS 5.3-6.0 motor into the 2003 and up ram? I know the installation should be easy with the adjustable mounts so I am wondering about my factory guages, will I still be able to use them? The only reasons I am wanting to do this swap is I am tired of head and timing chain issues I have been having with the 4.7 motor... Three times now! The truck is paid for and I love how it rides compaired to the GM trucks and its so much easier to install and tune a turbo on the LS motors...lol I would like to hear from anyone that has done this swap and yes I do want to keep it fuel injected and will be using a gm transmission... Hopefully the 4l80E.
I am new to the site and first posting so I do have this posted elsewhere on this site where I did it wrong...sorry
1968 Camaro convertible. Originally a 2-barrel 327 with a 3-speed stick. Now sporting an LS1 and T56 from a 2004 GTO. 228R cam kit, Doug's Headers, Wilwood discs all around, 3.73 gears in a 8.5" rear.
71 Nova/73 Acadian L33. My recession rod, price of oil is low, I'm out of work so this is going to be cheap. One day there will be a turbo going on this and I'll change out the pistons and rods to forged and drop the compression a little bit so I don't have to run water meth
ok guys i have a question for ya im doing a swap lm7 into a 87 iroc im using the 5.3 4l60 harness and pcm from the same truck i plan on having it flashed or whatever but im also thinking about just getting the hp tuner kit for 500 and flash it myself if thats possible i know u can do alot of tuning on those things but i see there is a credit system? i dont know what for but curious if anyone has used these to disable the vats and get it going any suggestions i would appreciate thanks in advance
Well pretty soon, this LS3/TR606 from a 2012 Camaro SS
is going in this 1991 C1500, replacing the 25 year old 4.3L 5 speed.
Working on parts collection and wiring because as if that isn't enough work I'm swapping the 1991 dash to a 1998 at the same time. I'm going to create a thread once I actually get all the parts and the swap actually starts. Can't wait.
