Hey guys I have a 1990 s10 that I put a 5.3 in. It is a carb conversion, with holley 750 double pumper & pacesetter headers, a built turbo 350 trans, 3200 b&m stall, narrowed 12 bolt with a 390 posi, and moser axles with c clip elim. I want to change the camshaft and valve springs, and pushrods....the problem is I have read so many forums, that I really cant decide what the best combo would be. I would like to put a hefty nitrous kit on it as well, but that all depends on how well it will hook up. Any advice is greatly appr.
I have an ls1 installed in a s10 extended cab 1998. I can't get the ac to work I have the request signal to the PCM and the wire from the PCM to the relay but the couch will not engage. I connected the cluch wires to a battery and it works so that is not the problem the pressure switch is also connected to the PCM correctly. Help please is it a PCM issue ant I have heard you can bypass the PCM for the ac but I don't know how. Please help

Converting a 1971 Porsche 914 to a 911 suspension with LS1 crate motor with a 915 transaxle with new high geared ring and pinion.
I know.....not a real Porsche after the conversion! Heck it wasn't really a complete Porsche to begin with! Had a type 4 Volkswagen 1.7 L with 75 HP to begin with!

Did a search of this thread and I may be the first to do a 97-03 Ford F150 conversion. Mechanically, it was the easiest swap I've ever done. I'm running a 5.3/T56 combination. I made the couple of mistakes. The first was avoiding automotive electrics for so many years. The second was purchasing the harness from a company with almost no tech support. The wiring took awhile...a long while to figure out. Needed LS1tech support ; ) but got it done. Still trying to figure out gauges but it's my daily driver and I'm enjoying it!
Just finished installing LS6/T56 from 05 CTS-V into my 57 Bel-air. Took out 350/700R4.
