I almost went ahead with a cobra project where I was going to put in a 4 cylinder into a cobra. It was a "Shelby" 4 cyl engine with a gt40 turbo that puts out 600 to the wheels. Didn't do it.

I have the dished flex plate and crank adapter i have crank spacer, longer crank bolts and flat flex plate with 11.066" bolt circle. The flexplate came off 2004 6.0L but I don't know the transmission. Does it matter if it were a 4l80e?
TC is smashed together between adapter and transmission and will not turn. This set up is supposed to work as I have talked to jegs and speedway. Without adapter TC hub will not reach crank. I could grind lip on crank and remove corresponding amount on adapter that fits in crank but that is extreme considering the 1368 people Speedway has sold to this year. Deep in trouble and can't fixit Need help. Thanks. Dave

I have had this car for 6 years, first 2 I was working hard but last 4 are recovery from Divorce...I purchased 5.3 with 6L80 out of a 2013 Silverado 67,000 miles. I have PCM need harness, exhaust manifolds ect...Never done a ls swap before.
A 1986 C10 SWB with a '13 GEN IV 5.3 and 4L60E (drop out package) stock ECM, harness and even fuse box. emission legal (AZ) truck is static lowered (belltech components) and working dual tanks. torque thrusts II (20") red with black interior. daily driver.
