Motor is a 6.0 and I have a 4l80e or I might build a 4l60e that I have 2 sitting in the garage. Should be down to the frame by this up comming weekend.

I got it down the the frame yesterday. I plan on using the Hummer H3 pan. A guy over at s10 forum tried it on his first gen and said it was about 1/4 off, so I plan on using that and a custom motor mount. I plan on using the same motor mount he had just o see if it will clear a 2nd gen and then also try the typical ls1 mounts.

If it doesn't work, TurboTime makes a pan for that application.
I did my swap before the H3 or TurboTime pans were available. And although most of the photos in my CarDomain site don't show the front diff (it was removed for servicing), there is one, and it does fit.
