Default LS1 fuel tank (Plastic 99-02 style)

I'll post some photos from under the car and engine bay soon, i used the stock line and filter assembly, other photos will make more sense. Once i figure out how to change the signal from the ls1 fuel level sender to the factory range i'll post it up as well.

If anyone has some comments or things for me to add let me know.

Thanks,
James

About the fuel sender range, someone on here was able to take apart the sending unit and replace the resistor inside of it with a 100ohm wire wound resistor and they said it worked ok. I don`t have time right now to search for the post, but it was somewhere in the conversions and hybrids forum.

I'm going to try it another way, if it works i'll post it up. Also, autometer now makes adjustable / programable fuel level gauges that should be able to work for this application as well.

your factory 3rd gen sending unit should fit fine.
i dont have an assembly here(its in my car)
but im looking at a metal tank, and a plastic tank, and they appeear to use the same lock ring, etc.
same size hole.
the length of the sender may play a role.
