The 4th-gen F-body console looks good in there, I'm planning to do the same.

Looking good I really like the look of that carpet as well. I have always wanted to do a carputer with HPtuners gauges displayed like some guy on here did with his caterham LS swap. For now I just got an aeroforce gauge.

The carpet is this ozite in black: http://www.yourautotrim.com/80wideozite.html

I ordered it a while back, but read about it in the drag racing section on here. A bunch of F-body guys use it to drop weight.

The sound deadener is Damplifier Pro: http://www.secondskinaudio.com/vibra...lifier-pro.php

I was hoping to have the rear back today, but they say another week. My goal is to get the interior finished and the console mod section built over the weekend.

Do you have any idea if your fuel tank solution would work on a 71 el camino? I am in the process of getting all the parts I need to start my swap, and the fuel tank/pump situation is one the last things I need to get sorted out. Thanks

It looks like you notched the sides of the console for the seat belts, but I'm wondering what else you might have done (such as along the sides toward the front of the console).

I'm using the Walbro 255lph and hotwire kit. It used to be sold as a total kit for about $200, but looks like they split it up now. http://www.racetronix.biz/index.asp?...FromFeatured=1 I think I have pics on here of all the mods I did to my tank, but they aren't necessary until you hit the high hp numbers. I was planning to go dual pumps down the road if I add boost, but just overdid it to plan ahead.

Were you able to use the wiring harness and connect it to the fbody alternator? Looks like a good setup. I need to get a used Impala fuel pump for the housing and sender and the racetronic pump.

Yeah I hooked it up to the alternator and just ran the LSx fuel pump wire to the back.
