As far as plugging it you could look for a 16mm x 1.5 plug or use an adapter to get to 1/8" pipe thread and then use a 1/8" pipe plug.

people have cut the top off the original sending unit leaving just the metal base and tapped what remained with a 1/8 npt tap. it looks better than it sounds, lol and beats buying an adapter.

Just for fun I tried this and it ended up breaking at the threads. Just not enough meat there to keep it from breaking in half. Thanks for the tip though..

Do what I did. Take off the bolted-on oilport "thingy" just above the filter, drill and tap to any size to fit your sender unit or capillary tube, attach oilport "thingy" back onto engine. No adaptors or risk of breaking attachment!

In that other thread a person suggest pulling the oil sensor and making an adapter out of it. Basically drilling out the center and retapping it. I tried and it did work for me.

Nope, I received the adapters today. Slow *** JC Whitney. Got to pick up a cheap gauge tomorrow to run some test on the motor. Hopefully all is well and the pressure is down.

It's behind the intake. Its a tall skinny black sensor with a alum. base. About 3" tall and 1" round.
