I'm not sure where you read that but we are still doing the factory harness reworks.

I've had to cut out most of the specific model swap harnesses ("I want to put an LS1 in a xxxxxxx, and I want it to plug into the dash so all of the gauges work normally..."). These took an enormous amount of research to make them work properly and there is no consistancy to them, so each project was like starting over again.

We've gotten real busy lately with the LS7/LS2 harnesses.
We also make the harnesses for the Mallett Solstice/Sky LS2 project.

With all of that stuff in addition to the LS1/LS6 and all of the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 harnesses, I had to cut out some of the oddball stuff.

But we're still doing the factory reworks as well as new custom harnesses!

Default Wiring harneses made easy DIY

Here is what i did, go to alldatadiy on the web, you can subscribe to it and for 25 bucks for a year you can down load wiring diagrams for your car, or the wiring harnes year to make your own stand alone harness, pretty easy to read diagrams and you can save them or print them off. There is a lot of info there not just wiring harneses, complete repair and diagnosis codes etc.

Ah yeah; that's one of the "plug and play" models we had to cut out.
