I found a handy upper radiator hose today, Dayco 71863.

http://www.mvreader.com/multiview/da...oPart=71863&l=

This will work if using the stock truck upper hose with a 1.5" - 1.25" adapter to adapt the two. I picked one up at Autozone for $13, it is a lower from a 99 Plymouth Voyager 3.3L.

I had a buddy of mine weld a couple -06 fittings on the SPI fuel sender unit.

If you'd like I could email you a tune file for HPT from my 2004 GTO's current setup. Might get you pretty close..and uses the same xxx243 pcm.

I have a MP112, crane cam w/ similar specs as you, 42# injectors, 3:73 gears.....on a 5.7L
You got a few more cubes but might get it running. What size injector you running?

Nice looking swap BTW.....

GM used several different service numbers on their ECM's. An 04 S-10 has the same service# as a 03 Express van, or a GTO. The differences are the tunes programed into the ECM. A 4.3 program is currently in my ECM, it needs to be removed and reflashed with an Express van tune to operate my engine.

Well we made some serious progress this 3 day weekend. The rear brakes are installed and all the details in the rear are worked out. The Fuddle stall slid in, is all buttoned up and all the wiring is complete on the bottom side of the trans/motor. The air intake is fully installed. The S&P headers are installed, the prop valve had to be relocated inward a bit and some grinding was necessary on the header flanges for a comfortable fit. The ECM is painted, mounted and all of the necessary to run wires are hooked up. I had a battery in and rolled the motor over a few times, I have not finished wiring the DLC so I do not know if the ECM is communicating yet.

Now for the problems, I received the wrong SPI EFI tank. The one I got is a 64-67 unit, I am working with the supplier to get this resolved. The fuel filter is to large to fit anywhere under the car, its going back to Summit and I'll be getting an inline. The 4L80E trans cooler lines hit the floor pan and will not work. I have some fittings on order that should resolve the issue.

I have no pics

I am getting the adapter assembly from Sonnax, basically its an adapter to run th400 lines for an 80e swap. It is pipe thread so i will run 2 tight 90* brass fittings to flare line. This should work.

im on the same path , the only problem is the brass fitting wont be flare going into the sonnax fitting . and by the time you bend a short 90 on a piece of tubing you are basically in the same place you started out from.I hope you work it out , so i can copy you. sonnax should make that fitting in a 90 degree version, there is a need for it --there is a thread on this within 2 pages or so about this as well. I'll braze something up then, this little hiccup isn't keeping me from firing this pig off

i'll beat the **** out of the floor if i have too.

exhaust will be 2.5", Jeg's x-pipe with e-cutouts before the x, then on to Aero-chambers, then over the axle and out back, the cut outs will get dumped.

I spliced my hoses together with some hardware store plumbing pieces. I used a 1.25" to 1.5" hose splice and 2 pieces of brass plumbing pipe inside the 2 radiator hoses, so the clamps on the splice would have something to clamp against. Cost = $10
