I built the fuse block tonight using a factory Chevy Lumina block and adding some circuits to it. I actually bought 2 and made one out of the parts. The 6 15 amp fuses will be for the pink wires that are run/start hot. The 50 amp maxi fuse is inline with the 15's, not required but just worked out that way. The 3 20 amp circuit breakers are fuel pump, accessory/run/start circuit, and 12v constant. The three relays are run/start circuits, accessory/run/start circuits and fuel pump. I am mounting it on the inner fender right by the battery. I think tomorrow I am going to tie the harness into the fuse block and make it all work.

Look at it this way. If Olds still existed this is what all of us Olds freaks would be doing! Just like the 1st Gen Camaro/Firebird guy are doing. Sweet build. I'm thinking of a similar build for an FJ40 when I get one!

Sweet!

Installed the fuse block and ran most of the engine management wiring, just need to find an accessory/run/start circuit in the car to power the relay. Still waiting on Fuddle to get me a good converter

Looking good! Your a brave man building your own fuse block, I give major props to you! I tried building a harness one time and it looked like a huge mess, it worked but did not look good at all! It even took me like 4-5 hours to install my nitrous system because I was trying to keep it looking clean. Can't wait to see it around.

Nice work!

If you do not have it already, you are going to need the return style rail adapter from Magna Charger in order to utilize the return style pump you have.

So you will be running a single line from the regulator to the fuel rail? I would rather see you run the return line all the way to the fuel rail and get the hot unused fuel out of the rail.

I suggest running the both fuel line and the return line to the rail (new rail adapter for return style) and using the factory style fuel pressure regulator. I have made 650 RWHP with the stock fuel pressure regulator, and return style system.

If you decide to use the Magna Charger rail adapter give me a call. 805-642-8833.

FYI, this should save a few bucks and net the same results.

Brian.

Hey, if you didn't install your tank yet, could you get a measurement of the sender hole inside diameter? I'm considering getting one of these tanks but would like to know if I'm going to be able to add an additional intank pump to it. Keep up the good progress

No I have not installed it yet and will take some measurements for you, however, I am on vacation and will not be able to for a few weeks, but when I get back I can hook you up.

Doh! jk, I appreciate it and enjoy the vacation. Btw, a post over on team chevelle mentioned that the outlet fitting isn't -8an...not sure which is correct:

Default Progress

We got alot done Sunday. First off, I set the radiator up with the fans and trans cooler. We set the intercooler in with the stock Magnacharger brackets massaged a bit. The intercooler pump mounted up with a 2.5" muffler clamp and a bit of creativity. We mounted the water tank in front of the radiator out of sight but still accessible. The throttle cable bracket was fabbed up from the oem one. Most of the coolant lines are ran, intake plumbing ran, MAF harness complete, and some more wiring taken care off. Monday we are going to take out all the fuel lines and tank, finish most of the wiring and hopefully put power on her to look for smoke. (hope I knew what i was doing)
