We fabbed up a PCM bracket from some flatstock today, and I tackled a bit of the wiring. I wired the check engine light into the oil pressure idiot light in the dash. Did not get as much done as I wanted too but we made progress never the less.

PCM I am using is a service# 12586243, it is from an 04 4.3 S-10, also used by Express vans. The harness came with the engine which is an 03 LQ4 from a Silverado 1500HD. I modified the harness for cable TB and re-pinned C1/C2 per an 03 Express van, which still used a cable TB and is the tune that will be loaded in the PCM.

The blower is a MP112, I got it used from a speed shop in Arizona, it was a customer take off when they went with a twin turbo set up. The shop had it on their shop delivery truck for awhile and then sold it to me for $2,200. I got it as basically a "tuner" kit, no software or fueling, just the blower and intercooler. I got a good deal on it.

Factory instrument cluster, I will be using a Cable-X converter for my speedo. I have a bunch of Autometer sport comps in it for the important stuff. I will be replacing my narrowband A/F with a FJO racing wideband gauge soon.

Nice, I assume you mounted the other guages under the dash? Your project is awesome BTW.

^ Yes other gauges are below the dash and pillar

Today I received my fuel rail adapters from Pure Choice Motorsports. I attempted to install and found the male fuel rail fittings did not fit in the QD. I called Pure Choice and they had me mic the Magnacharger fuel inlets. They said due to a difference in materials and manufaturing between GM (aluminum) and the Maggie (stainless?) inlets, the fittings did not fit. The Maggie inlets are .04" larger in diameter respectively than the GM inlets. Pure Choice told me to mail them the fittings back and they will mill them out in their CNC for free. I removed the inlets and sent them with the fittings for Pure Choice to make an exact match. I am really happy with Pure Choice, in light of the situation. Their actions for a $38 part tell me they are a top notch supplier.

This is a sweet build!

What brakes did you use that worked with those Torque Thrusts?

The brakes are the Classic Performance Products 13/11" brake kit for A-bodies. In hindsight I would have went with the Kore3 C6 Z06 kit.

I was going to go Kore3, but the calipers wouldn't clear my Torque Thrust spokes....

Good news..Finally.. I laid eyes on my faulty converter (thought I would never see it again) After 4 months of dealing (or a lack there of) with John @ Fuddle, I wound up in Salt Lake City on business this week. I "just so happened" to stumble across what was supposed to be Fuddle racing. Details here:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls1tech-sponsor-feedback/957103-fuddle-racing.html

Cliffnotes: It looks like I will have my converter next week.

Pure Choice Motorsports called me Wednesday, my fuel rail fittings are complete and in the mail. I am ordering all the fuel system on Monday. This thing could be fired by the end of the year! Sarcasm!

I got the converter, fuel filter some other fittings in today. The converter is a 245mm Howard's (Fuddle) 2700 stall. Filter is a Trick Flow TFX 10 micron canister.

Pure Choice Motorsports returned my inlet fittings and they fit great.
