1. Run all the power, bat and alt wiring to a rear disconnect switch.
2. Wire the Fuse box back up as I removed the whole Buick GN Engine harness.
I called Casper's and bought a new fuse block bulk head that doesn't have any of the engine wiring for the Turbo 6 in it anymore. It's looks like this.
I have already pulled some of the wiring from it. I'm not going to be running the Powermaster or the fan through it so that's gone along with a few others. I need to know what from that fuse block has to stay and where it goes. I know there is a Starter wire in there. I know the Injector feed wire I am going to use to link to my Holley Dominator power. What else will I need to run? This question is going to lead into my second question about wiring the car for the alternator shut off.
They way I did mine was to run the wires that went to starter with the fuse able links to pos side of battery . This runs all chassis power lights, windows etc. my ecm has its own fuse box and wiring , relays etc. I just left car fuse box intact and weeded out things I didn't need
Looks good so far! What intake is that? Do you have a link? I tore my LY6 down for the cam swap, head gaskets and studs and have been looking for an intake like that but the ones i found on EBAY looks similar but after some research a lot of guys are having fitment issues.
Its a Precision Metal Fab intake very good quality and a hefty price tag to go with it but its a little less then some other brands!
I need to order a Dipstick tube and stick for a 4L60/5e tranny. The one seen here at Rockauto has the tube chrome plated. I didn't think AC Delco had any of their product in chrome. Is this correct??
Part number: 92159815 This one here Is for a '06 GTO
Anyone have some headers that'll fit on a 81 Malibu w 6.0/4L60e all stock? I need them ASAP looking for a cheap reasonable price. Doing a budget build at this time. HELP and thanks in advance.
Please PM me so I get an email letting me know I have a notification. PayPal ready!!!
in process of installing an ls1 and 4l60e into an 82 el camino. Have sorted out a lot of issues but still have a few to go. One of the bigger ones at this point is the shift linkage. Anyone have any experience on hooking this up?

If you're using headers you'll have problems with the linkage going to the column. I just bought a kit from Shiftworks that is supposed to take care of that problem. I haven't installed it yet so...
Hey guys I posted a while ago with a couple questions regarding fans and exhaust manifold questions, my buddy said he had a pair he thought would work and let me come out and snap some pics, wondering if these would work

It really depends on what you are using for mounts. Those are fbody manifolds and the probability is good they would work, but again, you may hit the cross member or the frame rail, etc...depending on where your motor landed.
Let's start there...what mounts are you using? I have a set of fbody manifolds and can mock them up on my Cutlass and shoot you a few pics for reference.

Thanks for the input Dave, I'm going to be using the relocation plates made by ICT Billett, from eBay, I'm going to be using the stock CSB clamshell style, if you could snap some pics, it would be greatly appreciated

If I get into the garage tonight I'll take a quick shot of them for you. I also have a holley set available if you are interested and a set of 1 7/8 stainless holley/hooker headers. They are obviously privy but can work a good deal for you.

I got destroyed this weekend with a sinus infection and throat BS....I will try and get out there tonight and get you pics, etc... I'll send you info on the swap kit I have. I have changed my damn mind 100 times on this build so I amassed a nice chunk of parts. I basically have everything you need to get the engine in, with headers and oil pan, using Holley parts. Stuck with the Turbo solid mount route and used the trans stuff from the Holley kit (worked well).
I'll send you a list of parts and pics (they weren't cheap but will give you a heck of a deal if you are really interested).
I can't wait till this is running its looking sick! Makes me wish I went that route
You and me both brutha...
Could you fire me the part number you used for the Buick Lucerne PS pulley? I believe that was the route you used and I found a couple that may work...just don't want to duplicate effort you already figured out...haha.
Anyone have any experience with problems with a novi 2k ?
He guys , i have a question. i have a clk430 with a novi 2000 chassis mounted kit. i have an auxiliary gear box ( helical gears) on the back with a 1.9 ratio. we also have straight cut gears. I've gone through hell and back to quiet this thing to the levels i see others operate at. we have tried different types of oil ( super thin spindle oil to super heavy gear oil) and the sound does just dampens but does not go away. in the video i'm running heavy oil. I've herd people talk about bearings going and making a weird noise, if any one can tell me if they recognize the noise ill be very thankful . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVYs...ature=youtu.be
