another dumb question but for you guys that but the hot wire kit, what is the process of wiring it complete? Besides the obvious hook up to the sending unit and run it to the alternator.

You are going to need the pigtail that plugs into the fuel sender out of an efi g-body (grand national/4.3 monte). Splice that into your fuel gauge wire, ground and then run your fuel pump wire from your ecm to the last pin on that connector. Then it will be plug and play with a racetronix hot wire harness or the stock sender.

Got my regal back from the paint shop so I can finally get the swap started.
It's getting an LQ4 and a 4L80E from a wrecked Penske Cube Van with 87k on it. The plan is to be a cam only motor and the trans is getting a 3000 stall convertor from Circle D. If It does not get into the 12's I'm going to spray it.
It's also getting a 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 8.8 rear axle, S10 Front Spindles, Vette Brakes up front and a bunch of other upgrades along the way.
This one is going to take a while....

Thanks Justin. Need to push the button and buy those headers but there are piles of parts everywhere and I need to start bolting stuff back on so I have some room.
Thanks again,

anyone use a built 2004r from the GN for a little bit? I have one that I used in my Buick from 98' with a Art Carr 3800 stall that is all fresh.
I have twin 61's with a built 408 I am planning on using, but thinking about just getting it running and driving running it N/A for the summer so I can cruise it sooner! 10.1 comrpession with trickflows with a small cam should be good for low 11's I gander with the 2004R. If I can get 2 months out of the trans I would be happy.

Stage 1 done. Everything installed and running, body fab done...
Next I have to fix a few hiccups (water pump neck we made needs welded) also, does anyone know why when I hooked up the firebird brake switch now my DRIVER SIDE brake light doesn't light up???
My stock switch had two wires on the back, three on the front. I thought back were CC, left unplugged. The three on the front I knew one was hot, one went to third brake light one went to brake lights (I thought). Wire the two brake ones together. Third brake light and PASSENGER SIDE brake light work. Driver side does not and it has new bulbs...
