So the Right side axle runs to the right side along side what would normally be the right side of the engine block.

For the light beams to be pointed straight down the road, the edges indicated by arrows need to be pointed forward on the car.

We think that the top part of the light (covered in cardboard) is an area that is covered up by the hood or other bodywork in the light's original application.

For the lenses to be pointed in the right direction the lights will have to be mounted in deeper on the outside end & shallow on the inboard end.

mount the light for the best fit to the front end, they are more of a daytime/ accent light, so if the light is not pointing perfectly straight it's ok they are not fog or driving lights. pics:

in the pics the lights are mounted for best fit to the VW nose, they are not perfectly straight like the Audi but still look good IMO.
we will use these to light up the road![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

That is going to be awesome, people will see your car and say "ricer" and do a launch at the light, then half a second later hear a v-8 get quieter and quieter in the distance.
Nice project.

Are those fixed headlights you have custom or just aftermarket? Great build so far. What color are you going to be going with this time? I would love to see that thing out on a road course.

The head lights are from an 2004 Acura NSX-R . The color is the same as you see in the engine bay pic Pearl Orange from the 2006 Lamborghini Murcielago.

This polished metal only comes in 24" x 24" square pcs. & we needed pcs. that were about 26" long so we had to cut 2 pcs. diagonally out of each sheet.
These pics should show you some of the process, we will finish this tomorrow & I'll shoot some pics before we remove it all & set it asside until final assembly.
Note: the polished metal has a blue tinted protective film on it right now.
