LQ4 into a 3rd Gen/1972 Nova
Also, usually when you buy something that was tapped, Ive always had to re-tap pipe threads. A lot of times, they will only engage the first three threads....not even hit the sealing tapper that a pipe thread is meant to have!

Never buy something you can make unless time is a restraint. Great work!!! I do have a question for you, why are you using the downstream O2 sensors? Are you running all four sensors with cats? The reason I am asking is I had a guy rewire my harness and he deleted the second bank of O2 sensors so I am only using the upstream sensors.
The LS3 exhaust manifolds came with threaded holes for O2 sensors, but since mine are flipped upside down, this puts the sensors right at the 6-o'clock position aka the lowest point in the hotside piping... not the best since the sensors will get soaked in any moisture in the system each time the engine is turned off and the exhaust hotside pipes cool down!

I couldn't resist mocking up the pedals even before I finished welding the backing plate into the firewall.
I've been wondering if all this effort will be worth it, and you all probably think this is extreme, but with my size 13 feet I've never found a car that I could heel-toe in because of the trans tunnel, not to mention the stock Nova pedals were way too far out from the firewall making my long legs feel cramped. Anyways it was totally worth it! all pedals are exactly where I want them, laterally, vertically, and depth-wise

Also when it gets too late out to make noise I've been re-working the wiring in the car, eliminating all those useless buzzers, sensors, and idiot warning lights, as well as making sure the wires are safe and also wiring in connectors for the new gauges.

Are all these really necessary??

Apparently not...

Just plumbed fronts for now...
