I have never hit my head against the bars. Now in the back seats, an adult can.

Plus it give me a great mounting point for my 6-point harness. You don't see it, but the harness is always there.

Probably a dead argument, but here is a quote from the NHRA page that was referrenced earlier.

Once any power adder or performance hardware is used, it then must follow the existing Summit E.T. safety requirements.
Hence, 13.49 even if you have an air filter, if they want to be dicks about it.
