Default Best sounding catback for a cammed car?

I have a H/C 2003 Z06 and was wondering your opinions, I really like the look and sound of the B&B bullets but have yet to really hear them on a cammed cammed. I dont want something annoyingly loud, and im young so not super concerned with drone (but less is better).

and... to clarify what they are calling a catback is infact just the portion that runs over the rear axlesa and out the back? or is this portion called an axleback?

Thanks,
J

I'm a fan of B&B bullets but they are loud especially if you aren't running cats.

GHL bullets.

B&B bullets are GHL's bitch.

GHL have a full, rich tone that sounds just as good with headers as they do without. B&B's get more obnoxious when adding headers, losing some of the "vocal" quality.

There's a group buy for GHLs on corvetteforum. EVERYBODY swears by them that have heard, or owned them. No drone, very high quality. There's a thread on page one or two of the C5 general section for owner's comments.

Those catbacks are the GMMG of Corvettes.

Honestly, I'd never ditch my Zo6 Ti's .... they are mature, while being perfect on H/C cars keeping some civility.

Otherwise I'd get GHLs if I wanted to act 18 with a Trans Am again. (LOUD)

I like the Ti's as well....They flow fine and they sound amazing!

I would keep the Ti's and get Cutouts

Listen to what the car sounds like at idle too. Any aftermarket exhaust is going to sound mean at WOT.

Bullets sound like Nascar at idle with a set of catless headers and F1 racer at high RPMS

I had them and couldn't talk to the person in the passenger seat without yelling. I switched to the lgm big 3 and gained power, and civility. Still loud at idle, but doable. Very refined sound at WOT. I'd really like a blend of the two. The big 3 is a bit less aggressive then what I'd like, but at least the neighbors are happy because I don't wake them up as much when I leave for work at 6 am or come home at 3 am. LOL. The bullets are a bit over the top. JMO.

with you on this one. Anything WOT past 3500rpms and it gets loud. Cruise on the expressway at 80mph and the car is dead quiet. Plus the Ti gives the car somewhat of an exotic sound to it. You can always get the ti bypass mod done if you want it louder.
