a 9.0 1/8th time is equiveleant to a 13.5-13.6 in the 1/4.
thats right about where a high milage 2.73 camaro would run with those 60'
dont be dissapointed, those times are okay

In the future, please post one thread on this, not one in each drag racing forum.
Now, on your times. I'd say you're a bit slow. The summertime air doesn't help, and even on street tires, the 60 foot might leave a tenth or slightly more on the table. But without a gear swap and or higher stall converter, you won't get much better than mid to low 1.9X 60 foot times (I'm cutting that on a mostly stock '00 Formula with 3.23 gears, a stock converter and M/T tires in cold air).
Have you checked the normal wear stuff (spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc), and more importantly, has the car been tuned? If not, I'd check those first, although if you are thinking about a gear swap, do that first so the tune can incorporate the # change to get your speedo reading correctly.

the car has a fresh tune up but not tuned and i tried stalling it to like 1900 rpm and also just slamming on it i also ran it on drive and then shifting it myself and no better results thanks for the info i want to put 373s on the car and see what happens by the way the car has no problem hooking to the track at all but was wondering if the gears would actually make my car be at least in the 8s??? sure hope so!!!!!!

Thats true, If two cars run 9.0 1/8 but one run 13.54 and the other run 14.07 then it's a # of things that can play a part in that. HP, weight of car, different tracks, weather, etc. all play a major role in your top end charge.
