His converter is really a GREAT ONE.I was running a PT4400 last year and he out 60fted my heads and cam car on the same day,and im at least 125 lbs lighter, and 30 more HP.This year i changed to a 4800 stall and its still not 60 fting better than his YANK SS4000,same rear gear 4.10

Maybe it's just the motor combination making better power in a place that helps it 60'. On top of it being a great stall.

naw keep it up your times are great, i wish i would have went farther SI before the cam...could have probably ran a 11.3s with the ss4000 instead of the ss3600 and could have gotten a full dyno tune and rear gear, oh well cant go back now...that mph you have is great

Chris, you may want to look at a brake proportioning valve for even better launches. I was able to raise my foot brake launches by 300 rpm using that kit.

Ah sooo that explains the better results. Ammazing how little details like that make a difference. That is the difference between slapping parts together and engineering it together. Awsome.

Yeah I'm shooting for 11.2 or lower. Once I hit that the cam goes in. I'm actually hitting up the track this weekend for the first time with a 2-step, new custom ram-air, and about 130 lbs less, so I may be hunting down your times pretty soon

He has QTP headers with a custom Y pipe.We pulled off the catback at the track to save weight. When he put his Strange rear in ,he made the catback unbolt in a coulple of pieces, just for this reason.Easy on,easy off.

Very nice times, I remember seeing your car get down last year at 41. I might have to look into your ram air w/ac for my car, seems to work good. Do you happen to have a thread or list of your mods from when you were running SI?

basically same mods as now, minus

rear drag bar (had an airlift air bag in the pass. spring 35 psi)
body mount tq arm (had stock)
qa1r front shocks (had stock)
ss4000 (had ss3600)
12 bolt (stock 10 bolt 3.23 gears)
and the weight was around 3365 lbs
i think that is it...

i am one for the ac right now finished will give around 3-5rwhp more than a FTRA...pm me if interested
