Heymoej,too bad you were not at the last Chaos.There were a lot of 8-9 second cars there.The track was the best i have ever seen it.It was right on par with RT66 when they are having a national event.Chris car stood the front end up a good 18-20 inches,and i walked off his wheelstand to 35 ft. Artactiongraphics has all the pics from the day,it did not get his car at its peak hight.A hair before and after.
, and junk haha too bad we dont live closer...

Chris, if you said cam only i apologize i didnt hear you.No dout you and your dad are doing things right, i just dont have the time to pull my interior to lighten up the car. Im all for light weight, i wish my buddy Mike would do just some of the minimums he's runnin 11.0's at 3900lbs. I cant complain tho 11.2 on a 128k shortblock at 3700 lbs is not to bad. maybe next year ill get ambiitious and pull some seats and any thing else and see what it will do. Shoot me an email next time your going out maybe ill try and get out.

we will be at byron from 10 to like 6 or 7 when ever it gets dark> i need to get my *** lower on the list seeing i missed out on the track this sunday and all. looking to get close to you and chris i took alot of weight off the car so we will see haha

tracks are open sometimes till November but we will not get any better air than what he had when i went 10.61...that is a once a year day around here...oh well i could have taken alot more weight out but got lazy as usual...
you should tape up your front end for aero, it cant hurt anything...i am going to have to live though you now with those amazing DA's coming your way..

I think our buick club had the last race of the year at byron last week. Been there a couple times. Not sure i can make it sunday but maybe 41 one more time. My buddy had a spare rocker shaft and his is running again and wants to go out. Let me know how it runs..

Because that is what is generaly agreed and understood amongst LS community, Cam only is cam, matching springs, pushrods and new timing chain if necessary + tune + any other external bolt on.
Bottom line stock shortblock, stock gasket and unmolested heads.

Because cam only doesn't mean "only a cam" it means stock cubes, stock heads, and naturally aspirated. If you wanted to argue this then you should have started about 10 years ago when the "cam only" term was coined. Hate the game not the playa..
Edit: The official list states it as such, "All times must be on stock heads, crank, rods and pistons." and since we are racers, we all go by the fact that if its not explicitly stated, its legal, thus all bolt-ons and drivetrain upgrades are allowed. If your not doing what they say not to do then your within the parameters. The end.
