Default If you don't have an SS4000 Converter, get one!

Swapped out a 2800 Yank converter for an SS4000. If you have an auto, buy one of these. Talk about a night and day difference! Went from cutting consistent 1.78-1.80 to mid 1.5's and low 1.5's on spray!!!

Quick run down of the car.

I'm still tuning. I have 6 passes on this current converter/suspension combo. Let me feel it out a bit and I should at least go the same. 90 degrees outside with 80% humidity isn't gonna get it done either. Good air should be rolling in soon, then, watch out.

I really think they would be close. I think you have more weight out than I do. I still have door bars. HP to HP would be an awesome drag race.

Seems ok driving around the pits. I could see driving it on the street. I'd probably go with the 3600 for a cruiser though.

I DD mine just fine, stock gearing too. I'm sure some 3.73s or 4.10s would tighten it up a bit too.

Yeah and so do I. You are lighter no matter how you slice it. I'm not stupid.

his 60ft seems right on to what I would expect a dialed in ss3600 to do...my best was a 1.54 with stock 3.23s at 3365rw at 116mph

already crying about weight , time to get the holesaw out...

and OP keep that on the down low about the ss4000...I can't be having other people pulling 1.3s...there goes my advantage...that car is going to pick up a ton when the cold air hits...11.6s all day

Sweet !! What rpm are you guys leaving at ?

I just installed a SS4000 in my SS along with a new cam. I haven't had a chance to run yet cause of my job. I hope I can see some high to mid 1.5's myself.

We can scale 'em up. No need to get sassy.

Well, I'll be at Byron as soon as it cools off. Feel free to give me some pointers!

I've been having the best results stalling it to about 3000 and letting it rip.

I have had zero motivation for cars at all, just finally took the Z to SCC on Sunday and I'm still looking for about 4 mph lol. Not sure if I'll even bother taking the TA out this year even though it's turn key. Chris Jim always throws the sanchez at you which is a for sure win for you, everyone thinks it's alot faster than it is.

I wish I would have known you guys were going to SCC, I would have dragged Gus and Silly out with me.
