The journey to the 8s is finally complete! Went to the track last night because i thought it was a good break in the weather.
Set the 2 step at 6500 rpm and have the Nitrous Outlet Black Widow 200 Shot Direct Port set up to come on right out of the hole.
Dump the clutch and fry the tires--
1.41 60ft
9.104@152.68
Come down the return road and smell something burning. Get to the trailer and pop the hood and see the electric fan broke a blade and locked up the electric motor and burnt it out. Smelled really bad. Drove to the local pepboys to find a universal electric fan. Didnt care about the CFM, just needed something that will work. An hour later i got a fan and put in on the car.
Second pass lower the tire pressure.
1.36 60ft and hooked and lifted them the tires broke loose and turned the car towards the way. backed off and then got back into it.
9.347@151.41
Come back to the trailer and felt the tires and see there was no heat in them at all and wasnt sticky. They are done. Only 22 passes on them.
I was not done for the night.
Back the clutch down a half a turn and go make one last effort.
Side step the clutch at 6500 and the nitrous comes on!
Spun right through the wheelie but stayed in it.

The launch was not good at all because of the tires but i knew it was a good pass because i saw the shift light flash at the traps.
Got to get some new tires and get back out there. Oh and what i thought was a good air day it was not. it was cool but the DA was 2965!!!!!
New tires, good air and hit the second 100 shot stage who knows what it could run![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Very happy with the results.
150+ is fun!
Here is some pictures of the car.

so is there enough room in that bellhousing to adjust the clutch, cause with my T56 and quick time bellhousing(i got the adjustable clutch window installed when I ordered it) and there is NOOOO way I can adjust the clutch from that little window..... I can maybe add weights.
Mind me asking how many turns you got in it?
also, what kind of power is the car making off the bottle?

Single stage direct port 200 shot.
Runs 9.6s in good air. Dynos 525-540hp Slipper clutch is not meant for the dyno.
The QT bellhousing has plenty of room to adjust with the SFI window. We just cut down an allen key and turn 1/4 turns at a time.
I got 8 turns in it now. Start at 10 turns for break in and slowly lowering it.
