That must have been an awsome run, from that site it seems like theres a couple turbo LS1 cars that are flying in Australia. Looks like big Rick, Ohio boys, Hardcore, and Harlan need to step it up a bit.

very cool that an ls1 did it, but its not comparable at all to the fbodys here. thats a full out chasis race car with a 4 link suspension. shrug.

Awesome car and great times! I'm sure it won't count since you're in the wrong hemisphere or something.

j/k I take it this is the W2W motor that was posted about last year?

Awesome UTE! Don't want to take anything away from them, but the USA guys are running stock body and stock suspension thus far. I bet there would be a few more in the 7's with a 4-link and tube chassis. Once again, not hating, just stating there is a lot of potential out there! Congrats to the boyz down under!

Update. I just got a call from Mark…. He’s at the track again today for a test and tune;

7.64 181.5 mph

1.177 – 60’
3.219 – 330’
4.934 – 660’ at 144.19 mph
6.404 – 1000’
7.646 at 181.5 mph

If the rain stays away, they’ll be getting another in before the end of the day!
