Default 9.40@143.74 (tied Noyzee)

I'll post the short version since I am have to get up early, a buddy is racing tomorrow in the morning.

Went to US41, got there like 7pm or so...

First pass off the trailer:

1.355
3.887
5.611
5.999
115.97
7.839
9.403
143.74

I actually spun a bit per some witnesses.

I went back for another pass and had some driver error and went:

9.51@@136.35 (pretty much off idle)

Then some guy oiled down the right lane and the night was getting long.

I've made a very short list of things that need some attention, but at least the 60ft is more in line with a combo like this. Felt like I hung the hoops about two feet.

Thats hauling *** John! Now focus on dropping some raceweight and you will be all set. Start with the brakes if you haven't replaced those, less rotating mass.

Good job, nice to see the 60ft coming around I was at the grove yesterday trying to get the record but we came up on a nasty wheele and it was going left and had to get out of it.That cost me a trans pan and oil pan.

Congrats John!

Tony he can only lose ~100lbs or he won't be class legal.. Not like I care, I'm not racing E/M because of the 3450+ weight, but I did the math.. I wonder if we can get you, brandon, brian, etc.. drunk you'll let me run at 3000lbs

what size motor do you have ?
we have been lobbing to lower the weights for the tx race to see if that helps so you still might have a shot at john

408ci.

My breakdown goes as soon
3100lb Base
100lb Solid Axles
50lb Automatic
174lbs for ci
Total ~3424

Now I will admit at 3550 and a 350 shot I've gone a 5.85 @ 121. I just spent a LOT of time taking weight out of the car, just to add it back.. It just does not seem worth it in my honest opinion. Maybe thats just me though.

Congrats man, nice runs. Wasn't your previous best 9.6 something? Pretty impressive that you've knocked .9 off of your ET in only two track visits.
