Default Little wheelie picture on motor

Stock motor with bolt ons, 26" Drag Radial at 24 psi, and completely stock suspension. It's not a huge wheelie, but there is daylight under the tire This run was a 1.61 60' and a 12.2 @ 108. It's a picture of a picture that I bought at the track and had framed so it's not the best quality. The back tire is not turned in as it appears in the picture.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I really appreciate it. Although it wasn't much of a wheelie, I was pretty excited when I saw the picture.

And yes, we all gotta start somewhere don't we?

For clarification, I have the stock shocks, springs, tq arm, no sub frame connectors....stock suspension. The only thing that I've done is replace the tranny mount for the tq arm with a poly mount b/c I busted the stock one. However, I raced on the busted mount for about a year And I was going 1.52-1.54 60' constistently like that. (On a 100 shot and a 150 shot) But, I don't consider that a suspension mod.

You F-body guys make me mad sometimes

Maybe the fact that I should accept is that I can't drive

If I could get my car to 60 foot like some of you guys I would easily run mid 11's especially with the 119 trap the car got on a 11.9 pass.

Yep, Gator is right, the car weighs 3380 and I'm about 230 lbs. So that puts the race weight a little over 3600 lbs.

Car makes less than 300 to the wheels, that's why the mph is quite uneventful. I make up for that in the first 60' though

I just need to get these tire to hook on teh jug and get back to the 1.4-1.5 range like before.

Congrats, as everyone else said... You gotta start somewhere and you've got a hell of a start.

Now that you got the hard part over with you just have to put it on the bumper next

Good luck!

Sweet, my first wheelie looked just like that, here is an example from GMHTP back in 2000:

Yeah, that looks almost identical doesn't it?
I saw you were running 12.4s back then too.

My car wants to grow up and run the times that are in your sig now

Nice feature btw.

396D1SS--the tires are M/T ET Street Radials, 275/50/15
