> I cut this from www.frrax.com Woodward / Momo goodness
Got the steering hardware in for the current build: Woodward SCA827 column with Momo 78 wheel, Blaine Fab adapters on each end. Total weight is 10# vs 26# for the OEM stuff.
OK for AI and ITE, but not CMC.
The columns are available in a variety of lengths, this one is quite long.
The Woodward column has 9" of telescoping section at the bottom, which is required by some clubs (NASA, for ex) in case the front of the car gets compressed it will reduce the chance of spearing the driver. Some of the telescoping section can be used to fine tune the position of the wheel.
I had a batch of adapters machined up that connect the Woodward spline to the OEM intermediate shaft profile. It will get TIG welded, stress relieved, and hopefully plated, if I can find a plater that will do small batches at a reasonable cost.
Firewall and dash bar mounts are Delrin lined aluminum ***** in a gymbal. I have a different dash bar mount coming that will simplify the install.
edit: got the dash bar mount in today, added pics of it
Woodward SFI quick disconnect is extremely tight, has 1.75" of spline engagement. It is nicer than the Grant QD but won't work on the OEM column.
This Blaine Fab steering wheel adapter is a little lighter for the Woodward QD compared to the one I make for the Grant QD. It can be drilled for 6bolt, 5bolt, or custom.
This Momo Model 78 wheel is 350mm dia, also available in 330mm
If there is interest, I could work up a GP on the package, with or without the wheel, for those that already have a good one.

Any idea of the price for such a package (I have a 3rd gen, but even in general)?
It all fits a 3rd gen just fine. The nominal length of the shaft is custom, to suit the drivers position. Total cost including the Momo wheel would be about $700, about $480 without the wheel. If I got a 5-10 unit GP going I expect it would be 10-15% off of that.

I added some pics of the dash bar mount that I received today. Both the dash bar and the single post style mount have a spherical ball and collars for angle and fore/aft adjustment. The single post style would knock about $40 off the prices I stated above.

The good news: You already have the Momo wheel, and 3bolt to 6bolt adapter (just need to drill out the 3 middle holes from 1/4" to 5/16" for the Woodward QD), and your stripped column with the Grant QD is saleable. Replacing the key cylinder, bypassing VATS, and wiring ign/start switches is very straightforward.
The bad news: Your OEM instrument panel will complicate the column mount, so not completely bolt in. 2 ways to proceed:
1) Get the single post mount, and have a mount tab welded to the back of the dash bar. Critical weld, and should be gusseted, so have it done by someone you trust. Requires R&R of the IP/dash for access, and removal of the OEM mount bracket (grind a couple of welds off).
2) Get the dash bar mount, which will bolt on to your dash bar, but passes thru the space occupied by your instrument panel,
so toss it in favor of aftermarket gauges. Requires removal of the IP only, dash can stay in place. Needs an instrument panel fabbed to fit the space, drilled for the gauges of choice.

Ok... Talked with Racecraft today. They have a direct bolt-in kit that goes for $179 for just the column, bracket for stock location bolt-up, bushings, and the tube that goes down the center of the column. For $449, you can get the column kit, steering shaft, and quick release hub. I should have pictures of everything sometime tomorrow. I'll post them up as I receive them.
