TA, is a old random tech I bought used for cheap.
http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...Shb-6nsYgqx1Mg
And welded in another cross tube in the rear infront of the adjuster were the will bend up. gusted the back end part and lightend it, but it still a really heavy TA. Its uses the BMR size bushing slider in front. I set it down about 1.9 1.7* with all rod end stuff.

The front mount Im not 100% sure on right now. I think I posted it, or you can see it a pic. I know I lowered it 1 hole form were I had it a few years ago. it right on top of the Y pipe, and I put a little dent/flat right there so the TA dosn't bang on it. I also trimmed a little extra metal off the front mount, so it dosnt have all the holes anymore, I know I was never going to use. Its a BMR and really nice. The car rides and shifts alot better after putting that on over having the TA on the tailshaift, its also alot stronger for the trans. Just a little heavy, but your never gona have any trouble with it.

I got the bmr ta and crossmember mount used this week, plan on doing what you did for some lightening sounds like i should start on a lower setting from what i've read. my pacesetter y is already flattened on top so hopefully all goes smooth, might just be right with next year in all motor

I didn't get that much weight out if it, maybe a pound? it was just something to do over the winter waiting for something else. Those parts should do well for you.

I guess I got 6th place for 2011 LSX all motor??? I didnt even go one round but I have more points then some other guys? Is that even right?

I'm sure it would take some simple fabrication, but for all my old BBC's I use a Milodon oil baffle that sandwiches between the rear main cap and oil pump...costs about $6.00. It's a very basic, flat piece of steel approximately 6" x 2.5". It keeps oil from sloshing up the back of the pan/block on high G launches. Surely something similar could be built for LS1 style blocks for nothing but spare time. I realize the oil pump is crank driven and the main caps are set down into the crankcase so it couldn't attach the same way.

I checked it out. It looks to me like you had to race at the final race for any of your points to count towards the season ending points. That's why you are placed ahead of the other guys who only raced at the other tracks.

that sucks, my junk gets more points some others. I think David Lazear has those MOZES heads and a sheet metal tunnel ram. I took some picks last year, its a bad *** car. I'm all for the LSX shootout but thats retarded. Next year should be good Jon from pa went a 8.5 the other day, so should be a few AM cars running low 8's

I found out how to get pics off my cell phone the other day. haha

the custom 11/32 matons I ordered fit stock heads. Looks like some rubbed the HG a little. Dont have a pic or that, but do of them new. There some really nice pushrods.
Don't mind the mess, 2am eating cold food while getting 20 little things done.

Heres a pic of the older gold and new silver springs ( with my ti reatiners form my patriot spring kit a few years ago) in the luntia kits, for guys asking about that diffrence. With the current bigger cam that made 441whp in post #552 when it was getting valve float.
And stock rockers with the comp truions.

Been ripping around with open headers (well the little mufflers I bought that are legal for MIR) keeps the deer away at night. haha Cold roads can lay tracks rolling thu 2-3-4ths. Using the heater/defroster, glad I didnt take it out for max weight. Streetcar

Can you go back over that part about the springs? I missed where you told about your valve float issues. I am putting together a stock LS2 shortblock with L92 heads, victor jr., and a carb. I have a cam already - 250*/266* @ .050" - .595"/.595"-112* LSA but not springs yet. (Except a used set of 26918's that I don't think would cut it. LOL) I've been recommended Patriot Gold Extremes, but I've also been eyeballing the Lunati Dual spring kits. I just haven't heard much about the Lunati's.
