Default Moroso vacuum pump

Does anyone run a moroso vacuum pump? I can't find any ls motors with vacuum pumps. Seems everybody fast runs a dry sump. I want to just run a moroso vacuum pump and keep my wet sump. pics would be great.

We run a moroso. We used a reichert corvett bracket and modified it to fit in the stock ac location on an fbody. then we had a wheel machines so it has the right ratio with an ASP pully so it uses the stock ac belt. Very sleek.

Pics of that would be nice, sounds like a sweet setup.

That Pulley and bracket is probably something that you could put together and sell fwiw...

I run the Aerospace vacuum pump kit. I had problems with the pump sucking excess amounts of oil into the breather tank. After looking around I found an air/oil separator tank and it seemed to work well. Make sure you do not pull to much vacuum and hook up a guage to monitor it. Here is a pick of how I mounted mine.

I need to put one of those setups on my sled, If there was an available kit (not the one that is sold that drives off the tensioner I only have the alt. running off the crank pulley) it would be going right on the top of the list.

I have no preferance as to brand at this point. Just looking for a decent option.

Fwiw I'll add a better/larger capacity pan at the same time, in an effort to help the cause some as well. Maybe someday I'll be able to float a drysump setup, but not anytime soon unfortunately.

I plan to get a pump eventually. Anyone know of a cheaper option than the ones already mentioned?

With a dry sump you don't have the concern of pulling too much vacum like you do with a stock oiling system, so yes I would run a vacum pump.

I want to add a vacum pump to my stock oiling system setup, I'd love to just go dry sump with it but the $ is just nto there for that right now.
