This was on a well prepped street and the car worked very well. Left on the footbrake and the unit and carried the tire about 10" high for about 20 feet. This was on a 325 drag radial as well and the guys I raced thought I would not hook and figured they would beat me because of that.... They thought wrong. Hope this answers you question.

Forgot to answer your question but this was a 9.50 tune in the FAST XFI on 1 stage with the car weighing 3580lbs with me in it. Thats about 975 Flywheel HP...

Around 15psi. You will need a well dialed in suspension and adjustable shocks. My old suspension set up will be for sale soon as Chris Alston Chassisworks is redoing my entire car.

dont be fooled.... one of those cars is a notorious street car. these guys can prep the "street" to hook harder than most tracks. one of those cars i recognize from "cash days." sure they have their suspension right but their prepping is no joke.

A well prepped street is most definitely a must. I was trying to show what can happen when you have a car that is dialed in on a well prepped street. The street I was on works better than some tracks.

I have no doubt mine will hook on the street with a little prep. Its hung them on motor in front of my house testing the brake one day. Pretty funny.

Not big power though, prolly 600 or so to the ground. enough for a mid 9 second car

Exactly why I don't have my car on the street LOL Afraid I would get in WAY too much trouble with it

Yes, mine is stock style suspension and is going to stay that way per our 275 Drag Radial class rules in CA. No secrets, just good aftermarket suspension parts, dialed in chassis, 4 corner scaled, and a well preped street. Also, having the tuning and engine management capabilities of a FAST XFI is advantageous. Bottom line though is my car didn't see street duty unless $$$ was involved and when its done being renovated it will never see the street.

That car hasn't been out in a while and not sure if they still own it. My car is currently under the knife and won't be running till later this year. When its done it won't see any street action and they can have head up at the track with it. If they don't want any with the Trans Am then maybe they will want to try my 69 Camaro supercharged LSx that I'm putting together.
