Ditto, there is other stuff that will net you more without making it look like a race car.

I believe that reservoir is also for the horns.

The car still has fenders just no inner fenders guys. The car looks almost stock when going down the track.

i am going to tackle my inner fenders today too...wish me lots of weight removal

also dropping the lower rad support with horns was 18lbs and then add the 1.5lbs for the aluminum brackets...

so 16ish lbs saving,

if the horns are already gone take that off the total, i think they were like 3lbs each so you can have another 8.5lbs saving with alum brackets... if i did my math right haha

Door gutting is on my list this fall, plus whatever other metal I can cut from the interior. Have you seen those carbon fiber door panels? Wish I had $268 or whatever they are now for those.

I am playing catch up to you guys...

14lbs airbag & bracket
6lbs air bag module/bracket/& e brake assmebly...I still need to pull the short run of cable, the rest has been gone for a while
10lbs for inner fender removal...
1lb ish for misc brackets not going back under the dash so far...

I want to pull all that sound deadening under there, the plastic mat under the carpet on the firewall...

I have pulled all my speakers since they run off amps that are taken out for track runs anyways... 10lbs

light weight battery will be another 18-19lbs...

so I am at 58lbs saving from my last run...add the door bars and I will be around 75lbs lighter...

and possibly pull the heat and modify the plastic so there is more room in the engine bay and drop a few lbs in the process...

I am trying to see if i can make it. Me and chris Are going to the cartek track rental. Nov. with chris's car i will be towing his Ride out there with my Tbss. Next year we hppe to have both cars out there. and both well into the nine's. My car is all ripped up dash is out doing the a/c and heat mod's. And the inner fenders and alot more. Plus when i am out in N.J picking up my new setup. But i have also been pulling the dash on chris's car and modding the heater box as i did to mine to keep the heat but get rid of the a.c.

And darren slow down haha. Looks good man. I kinda want to find a short block to put my stock heads and my vindicator cam in to see if i can better my time after i pull the weight. my car was a heavy pig 3475 with me in it last year so lets see what i can get it down to.

You should also remove all the radiator support brackets and make your own maybe something like I did if that would work for ya.

By the time you get a new catch can in I thik you'd be lucky to save 2lbs. I never weighed it or my new catch can so I can't say. I did more for looks than to drop weight.
