I would imagine that is all you can do. Let off destroy oil pan/ suspension, Hit limiter it will slam down. Shift like a mad man you mite have a chance, doubt it still probly slam down lol, Anyone with a Manual and doing hella wheelies?

If the car goes on the bumper, best thing you can do is upshift to probably 3rd or 4th and stab the gas and let her down as safe as you can. It's one thing to pop a wheelie or as your rolling out and the car is getting air, but if it goes more or less "on the bumper", then you could be in serious trouble. I have though seen personally a car get saved and the driver knew what he was doing.

One thing in his favor was he was of the right mind to keep the steering wheel straight and upshift while stabbing the throttle and with a stock K member, there was very minor damage.

I have pulled both wheels with my M6 but it was more like a good "pop" and no worries of the pinion walking up the ring gear.

The time it takes to go over to 3rd or 4th your slamming down IMO.

You can't think about it, thats the point. It needs to be almost a reaction and very quick shift. You could go for 2nd it may give it a good drop. I think the average person, including myself wont react quick enough but its def worth a shot.

Also a set of SYA bars from Madman would not be a bad investment for a just in case scenario.

How many stick cars actually go up on the bumper? I was cutting 1.42 60's last year... but i'm loosing 150lbs off the nose this year, and adding a little more power..... Also put on madman's sway bar and afco shocks in the back. Hoping to get into the solid 1.3's with my T56 this year. I currently try to get all the transfer I possibly can..... since I've never seen a M6 go up on the bumper....

I've gone 1.40 with 5-6 inches under the tires in my 2800# car.

I think you'd have to have a hell of alot in the motor & a hell of a clutch to get a t56 car on bumper.

Nice driving, he's clutching on each shift.
Wonder what tranny he is using/

The Cobra Jet above looks to be a clutchless 5 speed.
