yea you could do that. just run the power feeds from the shifter button. and you could use a master override switch if you need to say, set the linelock on a hill or whatever
btw if you need a wiring solution for your car let me know, i'm working on a board and harnesses right now for a guy in WI that should be finished up early next week.

If you're looking into bracket racing, I would guess under the IHRA "No Box" rules then look at Biondos adjustable transbrake buttons.
If you're just looking for a button to use and not bracket racing then just about any regular ol' button will work.
I had mine on the stock steering wheel of my old camaro. I used to have a good picture of it, but I can't find it. This is about the best one I could find. Just ignore the person in the car (Rockin' the laptop
)

I have one of these from my old setup, mine only has 2 switches and a button. I use one switch for the line lock, the other for the cover lock-up and the purge button for the 2-step/TB.
