Best drag radial to drive 100miles and then make 8 second passes?
Just like the title says, what drag radial can be driven 100 miles to a track at 70-75mph and then run 8 second passes at the track and drive home.
TIA!

Mickey Thompson or Hoosier should get the Job done. We run them on our outlaw car and on our street cars. I personally like the Mickeys but thats just an opinion.
We run 275/60/15 and 315/60/15

The new Mickey or Hoosier will wear out so fast driving 100 miles it's not even funny.
I would use the old mickey thompson 3574 part number and don't even think about the new one (3574X) or the Hoosier unless you really don't care.
Since the older Mickey T isn't quite as good as the Hoosier 275/60 and new Mickey T 275/60 you will be giving up some, but there have been plenty of people 60' in the 1.1x and 1.2x all day with the old 275/60 Mickey T's.
I would get a 275/60 or 295/55. Are you running 15" wheels?

I just tried 325 Hoosiers with same setup I've been running m/t 325s on and that bitch wouldn't hook in a giant rat glue trap! I'll never do the Hoosiers again as long as mickeys workn

I think Randy Seward drove 1700 miles from New Mexico to Florida to win True Street while on 325 radials.
Look him up there is a huge thread on Yellowbullet about his entire trip there and back.

Just doin this so I can say I can drive 100 miles, run 8's and drive home.
I am leaning towards the 325 M/T's. I am surprised nobody has suggested the M&H's.
