Default Should I be worried??

I'm looking at trading my 2001 ss for a built z28, it supposeably has a ms4 cam, some other mods and a 150 shot.. ran 10's in 1/4 and low 6's in 1/8.. from what I was told.

The only thing i'm worried about is it has a stock 10 bolt 410 yukon gear with locker..

10 bolts are notorious for breaking, if it had a 12 bolt i'd be fine obviously but.. should I not mess with it? or will i be fine?

Manual or auto? The 10 bolt is crap but if you don't abuse it, it will last until you can get something better.

Gonna assume it's an auto to hold up to that. Either way..it's a ticking time bomb, so you'll want to switch it out asap.

There's no way in hell I'd be trading a SOM 01 SS camaro as it is. I'd keep it and find a high mileage f body to beat on.

I would keep what you have and add more to it. As others said it would be hard to trade a SOM SS for Z28 with some mods. Especially if it is the one in your sig!

Well for reference i'm running the stock 10 bolt with a Trutrack upgrade, 6-speed, 4.10's, Nitto dr's, and about 550 rwhp...no problems as of yet at least lol

First off I don't purchase what I can't see, cam.

Second unless I was very familiar with the car in question I would be cautious about buy a car with nitrous. If it's set up wrong it can easily damage the engine.

Third unless I saw the car run those times and made the deal without the car leaving my sight I wouldn't trust that the times were for that car, and that none of the parts that made it that quick hadn't been removed.

Call be paranoid but I have been burned in the past.

My 2000 z28 laid its 10 bolt to rest with a MS4 cammed stock motor and 5000 stalled th400 no nitrous. So yeah, I'd get a 12 bolt under it asap.
