I just went to Home Depot and found a thin piece of metal under 1 foot long.

I drilled a couple holes in it.

I made a 90 degree bend in it.

I just screwed some bolts into it and viola!

No kidding?!?!?! I would think the power motors would out weigh the gears and handles of a manual system. How interesting.......

There's a reason the windows take 10 minutes to roll up.. the actual window motors probably weigh about half a pound.

Question How much are Bogart RR10s worth in the 1/4?

I have heavy chrome ZR1s now that weigh in at 23lbs each and want to get some Bogart RR10s that weigh 15lbs a piece. Is it worth it to change the wheels? About how much would that weight gain me appx? I can get a grand for my ZR1 and only have to put up another $1,500 for the Bogies and tires. What do you think?

ZR1s weigh 92 lbs plus the rubber, the Bogarts will weigh 60 lbs plus rubber. Looks like a 30 lb weight savings to me, and it is unsprung weight too. Sounds like a winner!
