Weld Alumastar difference?
15x3.5" 4.75pattern 1.75BS = $377 through Summit
15x4" 4.75pattern 1.75BS = $225 through Summit
What constitutes the $150 difference per rim?
Anybody running a 15x4 up front on an F-body? Getting aftermarket brakes will save me from having to run spacers, so that gets rid of the 5/16" spacer and doesn't push the rim too far out. Anybody know?
Chris
Price difference...Different rim, different setup, more material...possibly why there is a difference in price...I can't say for sure as I'm not a weld representative.
I feel our Bogarts are a better choice...If you want a lighter rim w/comparable prices were I can set them up specifically for your setup w/very good backspace options, let me know. Give us a call and I can discuss what we have to offer for you 412 508 0634. I will be here today until ~4pm.

I just got a pair of the 15x4 Alumastars delivered today, from Jegs. Yea they`re nice and shinney but they are the same damn design as the Prostars I already have. The 15x3.5 one peice are the design like the prostocks use, which is the style I wanted, so I`m gonna see if I can return them for the style I wanted.

...consider our Bogart Aluma Light front runner, as you will not only have a lighter rim then both welds, you will save a substantual amount of money.

steve10...Can you pm me a price for a set of Force 5 fronts? (15x3.5) My friend bought a set of rears that were already beadlocked for his Outlaw 10.5 car and is looking for a set of fronts.

Our front runners are SUBSTANUALLY less expensive...you NEED drag brakes for these to fit as the center of mass is moved inward more vs our other series...there are also other variances that make the rims different then a P1 rim.
This is one time where our pricing is seems inexpensive compared to others...typically many guys are compariing them to prostars/draglites which are welds inexpensive line of wheels and folks think they are high $$.
...guys keep in mind, even though a rim may even weigh the same...the closer the center of mass the wheel has, the lighter it will appear...ours have a very narrow center of mass AND is lighter from a static stanpoint..
