Default m/t 295/65/15 dr's some q's

Are these basically 10.0 x 29.5's? I'm thinking they might fit without crazy clearancing.

yep, but they still won't fit. They're .2" shorter than the 315/60's.

then click on "ET Street Radial"

PSJ,

You thinking about a radial tire class next season?

Radial tire racing is interesting indeed. I wonder how much I can kick my tires back, enuff to fit a 29.5???? I can adjust the lca's and push the tires back an inch or more.

Don't you TA guys have a little more wheel well than the Camaros? Maybe someone that has a mounted set could take a string measurement and give you the specs.

It's amazing to watch some of the big HP cars make these tires work. I get to see them run a the World Street Nationals and last year the bump for the 32 car field was 8.66 @ 156!!!! All but two of the qualifying cars ran the new MT's.

I have a Formula, so I have even more room over a T/A. If I push the tires back 1-2 inches I can avoid minitubbing I think.

Make sure you check the driveshaft if you move it that much.

You might get away with this and its better for a radial because it wont grow as much as a Regular slick.

Well I just bought that exact tire. I rolled it up to the car an it looks waaay to tall! So I had the guys send them back and order me some 325/50/15's instead. Maybe with all of your suspension mods you could get them to fit but I have a stock suspension and there was no way!

I've got the 325/50/15's sitting in the basement right now. The height looks reasonable but these are some beefy wide meat patties. They will eventually go on a set of 15x10 Prostars with the 9" narrowed 3" each side but we are a ways away from fitting at this point.

My brain wasn't functioning when I typed the last note.

It's actually narrowed 3" to a side. So I'm running 4.5" Back Spacing on the rims.

I just hope my 325's dont stick out past the fender to bad. I really dont want to have to narrow the rear end any. In case I do though hoe much does it cost to get a rear end narrowed?

I just paid $300 to have the rear end narrowed, the axles cut down and resplined and the axles flanges drilled for 5/8" studs.. not too bad, cheaper than wheels..

A local guy narrowed the housing for $150, the rest was done by Moser.
