Congrats Phil. Thats awesome you got it running this well and consistant this early. I'm definitley going to come out and see this thing run. Why are they only running 1/8 mile? Can't wait to see what it'll do in the 1/4.

1/8 mile racing makes for much better racing between power adders.it's also alot safer.going 200+mph in a 3300lb car isn't the safest way to spend the day.

exactically! makes a better race for nitrous cars and its much safer... these cars are out of control as it is at 140+mph at the 8th...

i noticed the car bouncing/rocking real hard when the Tbrake was engauged...

i've red-lit some races becuase of my car rocking/bouncing/rolling out of the beams when i apply the Tbrake... really makes for a bad ride home

thats some fast work you made for a 4.9x car... very nice and hard to do... great job!

Ty i have been told by a couple people that the reason for that is low pump pressure on the transmission. Im sure there are a 100 otherthings that could be wrong but my brother had a PG and it did that until he had ATI rebuild it. It does make for a BAD day. When watching phil stage friday i swear that thing lunges forward pretty hard. Nice runs phil congrats on the win!

Weird thing is the car does the exact same thing it did last year with a completely different transmission.

Plus a motor will last longer running 1/8 miles. Its overall easier on parts.

congrats on the win phil! That things haulin with more left in it, always impressive. Still tryin get up to maryland to race and finally meet you, that real street class is getting more competitive with the high car count, but sounds like a blast.

We're ready for some testing if we can find a decent track. I think we picked up on a couple things at the track friday that will definitely help in the future, having 2 different cars to collect data really makes a difference. We found an area of improvement on brians car which he will test this week to see if it works and if it does we'll move it over to my car, should help to build boost and drop the short times.

Our fastest 60'/330' combo friday was 1.28/3.30. With the new changes to the chassis/tuneup I think we should be able to go 1.19/1.20 & 3.10 to the 330'. At this point we're racing to the 330' mark.

Yea, I've had a few very interesting conversations with Shawn lately. The man definitely knows his stuff and is a really good guy to boot. Just don't as about rod lengths! lol. After seeing all the impressive things he's done for you and Fireball I think I'm going to enlist Shawn to built me a little something for the Vette. I'll be posting some updates in the very near future.

Keep that Stang hauling tail !!!
