Gotcha... Maybe they designed them to work specifically with there clear coat. I got this 3 can system to paint my helmet with and when I tried it out on some scrap first it had a dull finish until I sprayed the clear. Lot of xtra work to clear all those bars.

My dad had a ramcharger just like that. It wasn an 86, even that same red. Red vynil bench interior seats too.. I loved that thing when I was a kid. I wish he would have kept it a couple more years so I could have gotten that when I turned 16... that thing was the best.

As usual your work looks very good. You get it done. One question, if you have to pull the tranny I'm guessing you'll have to pull the motor or are you going to build a removable trans tunnel? Keep up the good work!!!
