I'll make some calls on monday, Wolfe supplied all the stuff for the cage minus the latest material. From dash bar is not 1 5/8" and only has 2 gussetts

will the tranny pan clear the front bar on the bottom?

The front bar is in exactly the same place as my tranny crossmember on my old setup.

Phil, I finally got my turbo motor running today!! Look out Drag Radial, big bad '70 Cutlass with a mild twin turbo BBM 383 lol

it seems like door cars are getting closer and closer to tube cars with all the bars needed to pass tech. Phil your doing a hell of a job I wish I could do my own cage, because with all the work involved you can see it would cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks guys, we're getting there. I picked up 2 more sticks of 1 5/8" tubing to finish the dash bar and the passenger rocker bar. Still need to figure out how I am going to do the floor.

Also, if anyone has a good recommendation on paint, I'm looking for a dark metallic gray with a nice shine to it. I paint I used before looked good going on but didnt have much of a shine when it dried.

Have you looked into Dupli-Color? They keep coming out with new metalic and pearl shades, looks like nice paint. Hell of a job on the car to !!

I used the texture metallic graphite last time, it was nice going on but just dried to a dull finish.
