SFI 25.2 Mustang/LSx build "The Renegade"
#3063
#3064
Got alittle work done today. Threw in the mockup engine/rear end and started working on the new motor plates to get the driveline angles right, they are almost done. I just need to cut the old chassis mounts off and make some new ones which wont take long. I'll have the engine back in by the end of the week and try to start on the hot pipes and finish the downpipe.

Yea, I dont know when or how they warped but when we started the ends were in the correct position. I got new axles from Strange which are hardened throughout the axle where the moser aren't hardened after the splines are cut. I'm going to use a jig to put the new housing ends on which puts a straight bar through the spool so the bearings/ends are square to the spool. My tubes are pulled towards the rear of the car, the housing ends sit at the front of the tube kinda like a shorter wheel base.

Engine back in for mockup of hot and cold pipes
Moved the motor plate mounts to the top side of the frame rails, I can drop the engine in complete, before I had to install the headers in the car.
Shawn gave me some 1/4" 6061 aluminum plate to make adapter plates for the -12 water pump bungs.
Custom timing pointer from Shawn and Brian *** @ Virginia speed

Intercooler back in the car, just need to finish welding the v-band on the intercooler pipes
Even though the intake is tall, it doesn't protrude much over the stock hood height.
