tell me about it. Sure its only a couple bucks to get it painted but when you take a couple bucks here x a couple bucks there....**** adds up quick. I had a guy offer to paint the doors for 200 but that **** aint happening. Sure its a good deal but I still need fuel and a bunch of fuel fittings and hose.

Well I got working on the chassis, I'm almost ready to clean it for final assembly. got the motor plate mounts finalized, got the upper core support braced, gas pedal moved, finished painting the top side of the cage. I think the only thing I have left is to add a gusset to the dry sump mount, gusset to the oil filter mount, and bend a 3/8" bar for the fuel cell which I'll do next week once its done.

Went ahead and ordered a bunch of stuff for assembly, got 12 spools of wire for a new harness locally, few terminal strips, box of weatherpack connectors, fuel cell cap, fuel fittings, relays and sockets, bolts for the windshield, tranny/gear oil and some new spark plug wires. I'm still trying need to drive down to virginia and pick up a few cases of brad penn oil for the engine.... Wont be long now.

^ You work on this thing so quickly. It took me all day to make a template and trim some acrylic. I still didn't even finish it. You probably did all of that before I got up.

Man my eyes hurt. Last few hours I've been sifting through data getting ready to get back to the track. I've got a couple of small last minute changes we're going to make to the AMS but it should be **** when its all done. Basically I took a bunch of runs and broke them down into 12 sections for the 60' and looking for what we need to do to go 1.13 to 1.15 to the 60'. If we can go 1.15 to the 60' it should run pretty good.

Tomorrow we've got a full work schedule, I'd really like to have the motor back in for the last time thursday with a tranny bolted up and full of fluids. It can't be long now kids, we will have some pics tomorrow. I'm really hoping that all the homework we did this winter will make this sucker roll.

Got almost all the carpet installed this morning, went through a quart of glue and need another quart to finish the drivers side. I got the 3 pc tranny tunnel carpeted and dzus'ed and the back cross member sheetmetal carpet done and the passenger floor. The driver floor is cut just needs to be glued.

Made a new set of spark plug wires
Welded on the fuel pump mount
finalized the dry sump mount
tranny/converter is clean and assembled
we started fiberglassing the front bumper, we have 4 layers on it so far, just need to do the tube for the turbo

Joe should be finishing up the fuel cells today so hopefully if all goes well I can get those thursday and have them in sunday. The list is getting shorter by the day....Engine/tranny will be back in this weekend for the last time.

Can you snap some pics of the trans tunnel? I'd like to get some ideas for when I cut out the floor in my POS.

Thats kinda a loaded question. There aren't 2 points, its more like what happens in the first .7 tenths after you generate wheel speed. Different rear gears will change your numbers.
