mmm... shock travel moniter and drive shaft counter makes a crew chiefs job much easier...

a racepack will be my next investment... especially before a larger motor...

its amazing how much ET you can pick up with your current HP just by looking at graphs and making small adjustments...

sounds like you guys are chopping away at that ET

When is the next time you plan on going to MIR on a Friday night?

I've got mine all back to gether and haven't been since spring so I'm getting anxious. I've been knocking on the 10's door for awhile now and plan on breaking in the next time out as long as track permissions are decent.

Kinda scary how this was originally intended to be a street/strip style build, now well into the 4's in the 1/8 with less money into it then some street cars I know of.

We'll be there on Sept 11/12. The 11th is a 1/8 mile race and the 12th is a 1/4 mile race just intime to check out the new EGTs, bigger headers and the new fuel tank. 170mph to the 1/8 or bust.

I'm pretty sure this isn't news to you turbo guys but....I just watched Tim Lynch put his bad *** mustang in the wall on Pass Time. I imagine the show was taped 6 months ago so most of you know already but for the rest of us naturally aspirated fellas, it's news. Well, to me it was news...lol.

Thank God he was unhurt but that sick Mustang took a hard lick on the front and left side. I've never seen one carry the wheels that far and keep carrying them as the boost came in. It was truly incredible. Said they were shooting for a 6.39.

Phil, sorry for the minor thread hijack and best of luck to you and Shawn in reaching your goals.

Moving along, got the fuel tank mounted and removed some weight which is always a good thing, still need to get 200# out of the car Headers are done minus the EGT bungs. Still need to do the front bars around the fuel cell.

Nice article. Car looks mean in that picture.

I'm still amazed at Ulsch's 3.98 1/8. Thats plain ridiculous. 1.05 60', 2.733 330'.

Anyways. Car looks great as always, best of luck at MIR

That's real nice getting an article on Chance's website like that. Random, but those billet bolt together converters are sick.

We definitely need some updates. Racepak needs a foot in their ***. Michael Jackson can't rap. ARrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I got the bar setup for the front of the frame rails that goes around the fuel cell, just need to weld the base plates on and weld the bar to the front. Made a new pointer and I fixed the crank and the cam sensor location in relation to TDC. 10 days for some *** kicking and we still need EGTs.

LOL Both, racepak EGTs and the SS bungs. Shawn has the SS bungs from his motor I can use but that still leaves the sensors. Hopefully we'll have an answer from those ******* out in CA today.
