alright...just got home, mostly good news. Ran the car on the gates without the boost controller, boost was right around 13psi.
1st pull was short to make sure everything was working correctly.... Made 750rwhp shutting it off as soon as boost came online.

Made 10 pulls on 13psi
added timing 2-3 degrees per run
Tweaked fuel until it was 13:0 - 0 psi && 11.5 13psi Its got a nice transition

Last pull was not really clean, spun the tires alittle
made ~1100hp from 6000 to 9000, horsepower was flat as a table
13psi, 11.5 A/F, lot of timing

Decided to call it quits since it was getting late.

Overall everyone was happy with the numbers.

WOW that thing makes some steam huh!

1100 rw in that car, if it's 2800 lbs like you wanted to get it to should be a 8.30 with probably 1/2 the boost you built the car to run with

phil, nice numbers. That car should fly.

Earlier in the thread you mentioned that you chose a mustang because things fit together well. What other considerations got you to go with a mustang instead of f body? Was weight a big issue? Both cars seem to hook well with the right parts added on.

I've always liked the mustang body(99-04) better than the camaro. The parts are less expensive and available everywhere.

1100 with a 1.25 60 foot should be somewhere around 8.4 to 8.1 pass, at least it is with a 3000 lb car. If your car is lighter, then it should be on the faster end of that.

Only bad part is that say it goes 8.25, adding another 100 hp is only gonna get it to 8.15
Stupid physics LOL

According to my calculator:

2800# race weight
1100 rwhp

nets a 7.953 ET @ 171.38 mph

Sound about right? There wasn't a field for 60'

id say thats pretty close depending on how the power comes in. my buddys notchback made 986 rwhp and used to run either 8.10 or 8.20 i forget. that was also a turbo car and weighed around 3k.
